What is the difference between a milk tea and tea latte?
Milk Teas are made with non-dairy creamer . Tea Lattes are made with your choice of fresh milk (Lactaid is default, regular Whole Milk is by request). Tea Lattes will taste lighter and less rich than a milk tea made with creamer.
What makes Premium Jasmine Green Milk Tea premium?
Premium Jasmine Green Milk Tea will have one gram of matcha added to our classic Jasmine Green Milk Tea.
What is a Potted Milk Tea?
A potted milk tea is topped with our signature cheese foam, oreo crumbles, and a mint leaf to mimic a potted plant.
Can I make special requests to my drinks other than sugar and ice levels?
Our general baristas will not be authorized to make changes to recipes outside of milk substitutions.
What milk options do you have?
We currently only offer non-dairy creamer (milk teas), Lactaid (default for many drinks), and regular Whole Milk (by request). Our Thai Milk Tea is made with half & half, and our coconut milk is only added in addition to Lactaid for certain drinks. We are currently looking into other milk alternatives.
Why are your flavor options more limited compared to other boba shops?
At Season’s Best, we do our best to limit mass produced powders and syrups for flavoring. Many of our fruit flavorings are real fruit, house-made compotes, or 100% juice. For full transparency, our wintermelon syrup, brown sugar syrup, and longan honey syrup are purchased through a supplier. All of our tea bases and coffees are brewed in house.
Our Taro Coconut Latte is NOT the same as a Taro Milk Tea. It is made with a real taro & purple yam paste swirled around the cup so will have natural taro chunks and be thicker than a powder-based Taro Milk Tea.
Do any products contain gelatin?
No, all toppings and products are gelatin-free unless otherwise noted.
How often will seasonal drinks be rotated out?
Seasonal drinks will rotate out monthly. Certain seasonal drinks may be offered all season! We will keep everyone updated on Instagram.
Is your store affected by the matcha shortage?
Yes, we expect that our matcha supply may run out soon as we source through Ippodo. We are trying out best to find other suppliers but the industry is facing a lot of pressures due to the exponential increase in demand by consumers. We hope y’all will continue to support our journey with or without our matcha drinks! Until we run out, we will continue to hand whisk our matcha, so we appreciate everyone’s patience during long queues.
